Basic Dynamic Load Rating, or Capacity.
Basic dynamic load rating is a dynamic radial load, in the case of a bearing of radial configuration, or a dynamic axial load, in the case of a thrust bearing. The load ratings shown in this catalogue, are the ratings that can be expected to provide a serviceable life for the bearings when used in conditions of correct mounting, loading, cleanliness, speed & temperature. These conditions must be considered in the use & application of the bearing. Excessive speed, temperature, ingress of dirt or other contaminants, shock load, incorrect fitting, loss of lubricant, any or all of these will have a detrimental effect upon the life of the bearing. The basic dynamic load ratings given in these product tables are maximum & applicable to the bearings' speed of rotation of 200 rpm. For speeds other than this, a conversion factor shown below should be used.
R.P.M.____50____100____200____300____400____500____600____700____800____900____1000max.
Factor____1.87____1.37____1____0.8____0.69____0.65____0.62____0.57____0.54____0.5____0.44
Where the bearing is made from plastics, or has plastic components such as a tyre, or ballcage, these factors do not apply & the maximum speed should not exceed 350 rpm.
